Blues Youngsters offered new deals
Birmingham City confirmed yesterday that new deals have been offered to eight second-year scholars. Four will be offered one year professional deals while the other four will be offered third year scholar terms. With Reece Brown and Demarai Gray already signed up it represents 100% retention of the age group.

Close Win for Blues u18 in FA Youth Cup
Blues u18s made it through to the last 16 of the FA Youth Cup with a tight 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers at Damson Parkway last night. A Reece Hales penalty was all that separated the sides in an even encounter with chances at a premium.

Blues Academy in FA Youth Cup Win
Blues u18 side progress to the next round of the FA Youth Cup after a highly enjoyable 3-1 win over neighbours West Bromwich Albion. Goals from Deqwon Ebanks, Charlee Adams and Reece Brown saw Blues through as they dominated their near-rivals.

Bobby has been playing regulary for the Irish squad of his age group. Another fine product from our academy. Fingers crossed he can progress as well as some of our other young lads in the first team squad. He plays left back that can unleash a powerful strike on goal.
