Birmingham International Holdings have today confirmed in an announcement to the stock exchange that they are pursuing legal action against U-Continent Holdings for failing to disclose their relationship with Carson Yeung.

Who is Wang Li?

The ownership of the football club took another twist yesterday when it was disclosed to the HKSE that Yang Yuezhou has cashed out his interest in 4.86 billion conversion shares to leave him with a tiny remaining stake in the club (0.28%). What is concerning is who he has sold his stake to – and just what that means for the club.

Why are BIH holding on?

One of the big questions that has been asked of late is why BIH are so intent on holding onto their share listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. With share value crashing by more 21% on Friday the question has been asked as to how much longer the HKSE will allow them to remain trading on the main board of the exchange.

Yang Yuezhou Becomes Largest Shareholder in BIH

Birmingham International Holdings disclosed to the stock exchange today that the second conversion bond issued by the company following the EGM of February 5, 2014 has been exchanged for shares.

Big Friday

The board of directors of Birmingham International Holdings will meet at BIH’s head office in Wan Chai tomorrow morning UK time to approve the accounts of the holding company. Whilst in essence that might sound incredibly boring (and in some ways it is) it should herald the accounts coming out on Friday – and that will give us a glimpse into the future of BCFC.

BIH Announce New Loan Agreement

Birmingham International Holdings have today announced to the stock exchange a new loan agreement which will see them borrow HK$15mil (approx £1.25mil) from U-Continent.

BIH Share Placing/Deed of Novation Analysis

Birmingham International Holdings yesterday told the Hong Kong Stock Exchange plans to raise money by a combination of a share issue and two convertible bond issues along with a deal that would see Birmingham City’s debt to Carson Yeung wiped out.
