It’s been a good end to the week hasn’t it? Not only a win against European opponents, a good performance from the team and a new Blues legend is born. Who is Robert Stambolziev? (Worcester City v Birmingham City review)

A sunny day in Worcester saw the first game of the 2011/12 season for Birmingham City, as they sent out a very youthful XI to take on the Faithfuls at St George’s Lane. I made the trip along with Andy (head honcho at www.smallheathalliance.com) to check out our young guns.

Birmingham Senior Cup Semi Final: Blues v Sutton Coldfield Town

Sutton Coldfield Town will face Nuneaton in the final of the Birmingham Senior Cup after a hard fought game at Damson Lane. Blues youngsters might feel aggrieved to be out after Jake Jervis was sent off just prior to half time for an innocuous foot-up challenge on Ross Miller, but they should also look at their defence as the culprits for their defeat.
