Open Meeting: My Thoughts

Last night I went to the open meeting facilitated by Blues Trust at the George, to talk about what has been done since the first open meeting held at the end of October, and what fans can continue to do to seek answers from regulatory authorities about the ownership of the club.

Protest and Safety

Birmingham City today issued a safety notice ahead of Saturday’s game with Huddersfield Town. The notice confirms that whilst the club have no issues with protest against the board at the game that certain rules and regulations have to be followed.

Delay No More

Last night Leicester City beat Blues 2-1 at St Andrews to set a new club record for consecutive league wins whilst condemning Blues to a ninth league home game without a win.

Negativity Monday

If a defeat to Yeovil Town on Saturday wasn’t depressing enough, reading this morning that Southampton may be bought out by China’s richest man Wang Jianlin really stuck the boot in. It really is a case of “look what you could have won” for Birmingham City as it was rumoured in Hong Kong only last year that Carson Yeung was trying to get Wang interested in buying Blues.

Faux Outrage

Birmingham City slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Yeovil Town yesterday to continue a shocking run of home league form stretching back eight games and over three months.
