With news being thin on the ground during international week I thought it would be interesting to take a look at a player who has suffered somewhat having left Blues to take an opportunity abroad last January. That player is Jake Jervis.

News Roundup

Birmingham City revealed yesterday that Neal Eardley will miss the remainder of the 2013/14 season after suffering injury to his medial cruciate and anterior cruciate ligaments. Eardley will require surgery on his knee to repair the damage and the resultant recovery period rules him out of the remainder of the campaign.

News of players going out has stopped since the sales of Nathan Redmond and Curtis Davies whilst a trickle of trialists continue to be showing what they can do at Wast Hills.

We’re almost halfway through the January transfer window and as yet Birmingham City have yet to do any business either inwards or outwards. This hasn’t stopped the rumours from flowing and there does seem to be some more solid action that points to potential departures in the next week.
