The Contract Situation
Whilst player contracts pretty much always finish at the end of June, football clubs have to notify players by the third Sunday in May whether then intend to retain them with a new deal or not. As that date is this weekend, I thought it might be pertinent to take a look at the contract situation at Blues.

A Critical Time
Without wanting to use a dreadful pun, the Chinese whispers following Peter Pannu’s programme notes last week have spread far and wide. Speculation over potential investors, new owners and what might happen to Blues has filled pages on messageboards, forums and various forms of social media.

Shares in BCFC
There have been some Blues fans recently contacted with regards to shareholdings in Birmingham City Football Club that they have retained despite the almost complete purchase of the outstanding stock in the club by Carson Yeung in 2009.

Statement of Intent – Pannu, Accounts and Investment.
With the playoffs now over for Blues I think it’s now the right time to talk about the financial situation and problems surrounding the club as there is no football left to be distracted.
